The guy that was hurt was one of the professors that started the motorsports program at UNC Charlotte. That program was one of the reasons my son decided to go to the school. He is currently in his dynamics class.

We met him at orientation when Bobby started 4 years ago.

The C5 must have been a new addition. On his personal web page, he has a C4.

We live in Newton, NC and I did not hear anything about this on the news. It is shocking to see something such as this and should definitely be a reality check for everyone.

According to the policeman at thte scene, the BMW the kid was driving was so badly crushed and burned it was hard to tell what kind of car it was.

Did the BMW have more damage or look worse than the Vette? I thought the article said the Vette was not :confused recognisable either. I'm sure both were pretty bad.
