Battery drain

I just recently acquired a 1999 convertible. I did not start it for a week and found the battery dead. I am used to cars holding a charge for at least a month or two. I'm sure this question comes up. Can anyone fill me in on how Corvettes react to this and whether I may have a problem condition?

Nope, but someday.
HI there,
The normal draw on a c5 is about 25 milliamps when asleep.
Battery soundness must be tested.
Normally, 2 weeks is the cutoff time without having to disconnect the battery.
Allthebest, c4c5
