I had initially planned on putting the battery in its stock location inside the engine bay...but have thought more and more about it and am considering moving it to the trunk.....moving the weight to the back would be a good thing.....what negatives would there be? Summit sells "boxes" to relocate batteries along with proper venting and such....comments?

I've thought about it, know a few that have done it, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. No real draw backs as far as I know, pro's and con's are a matter of opinion. I'm sure if and when I get around to doing all the body work that's when I will.

thats where I am at....doing all the body and chassis...so if I am going to do it...now would be the time!

Herb I put mine in the back to save some weight on the front end. I also put it on the passenger side to off set my weight.

I would think the only down side is the cost of the cable to bring it back to the front of the car,
