I have a 1999 with a Delco battery. When you look into the little eye on the top of the battery shouldn't you see a bright green color? What does it mean if you do not see that?

rwlc5,
I believe that little green light is there to indicate whether the battery is alive or not. Does your battery still start the car?

yes, it starts the car. I just got the car about 4 weeks ago and have only driven about 400 miles.

That's strange. It should be lit. I guess I would just keep an eye on the volts gauge and make sure it doesn't bounce around. You can also remove it & take it to a local Auto store and they usually test them for free.

Good luck,

Jay
