I just purchased a set of GMPP oval port aluminum heads for the 427 that I'm building to put in my 69. I got them from a guy who decided to go with a different motor. They were still in the plastic wrap in boxes never touched. I noticed both heads are identicle and want to be sure that its normal. So both heads from side to side are the same on BBC? They use the same mold? just want to be sure they are not both right sides or both left side heads. Cause you never know

thanx,

Oh and the reason i ask is beacsue unlike sbc heads... on the far left and far right sides of the head where the oil drans back to the sump, the drain holes are different. So when you flip the head around for the other side of the motor.........

I have put these motors together before but never questioned the fit because i knew the heads came off the motor. And i got such a good deal on these heads, im thinking Man whats the catch
