Belt sizes

How can I find the stock belt lengths for my 76? I lost the power steering belt and would like a good starting point to buy a new belt.

You should be able to go to your local parts house and get the belt you need. I was really suprised at the items I have been able to buy over the counter with "in stock" merchandise. I just purchased a new a/c belt for my 75 and the guy walked in the back and carried the new one out. My advise on belts is to buy name brand. Spend a little extra and get the Gates or another quality belt.

you should be able to do as crause says above, I just checked my "spares" and the two are gates # 7360 which is the shorter belt and gates #7535 which is the longer, they may not be the same as yours but your local parts house will have a listing. If you have AC the early style is the older long round compressor while the later 76's had the short style
