On your windshield pillar and the top of the windshield ss plate is there some type of stripping goes there to seal the two?

Joe, Check Corvette America's web site. They are one of CAC's sponsors I think, anyway I found them thru CAC's vendor list. Their on-line catalog has exploded views of weather stripping locations just like a GM shop man. has, they are very good diagrams. tt72

Are you refering to the 3/4 in wide "flat" strip? I got that when I bought new door weatherstripping, but I never understood where it should go (well didn't do any research either...), so I just left it out.

Ecklers sells a flat foam piece with adhesive on one side. But I did notice some kind of silicone when I removed the old pair.
