Thinking of putting four of these on my '73 (225 70SR15) and wondered what others think of them. Any comments, opinions or advice?

Why not go with the 245/60SR15? Fills the wheel well much better.The73vetteman said:Thinking of putting four of these on my '73 (225 70SR15) and wondered what others think of them. Any comments, opinions or advice?

Mind you, I drive sensibly now.

The 245/60R15 should fit all around without any interference. Those are what I had on my previous '73 and they worked great. My current '73 has that size in an old off brand. Plan to switch to the BFG 245/60R15 this summer.The73vetteman said:Tom, right now I have 275 60 15s on the back and 225 70 15s on the front, all on 15 by 7" alloys. I just lowered the rear (8" bolts from VB&P) to get it closer to stock height, and now the rear tires just foul on the spring ends. As a temporary fix I've put washers under the wheels (I know - not good) so my plan is to go narrower.
Ultimately I want to get back to a stock look with Ralley wheels (anyone wanna buy my alloys?) which is why I'm looking at the 225s. That said, I like the idea of the 245s. Are you using the Radial T/As, and how are they working out for you?
