Black laquer paint

What is the best way to take care of Black laquer? Or should I say, what type of wax to use?

Dont let it see the daylight!Lacquer is brittle and cracks easily.No one uses it anymore for that exact reason.Are you sure its lacquer?As far as the wax goes I like meguiars but there are alot of different waxes that are reccomended on this forum.
