blinker fuse blowing

I had a few problems with my blinkers/hazards and have narrowed the problem down. The hazards work fine but my blinkers blow the fuse every time I replace it. I don't even have to set the turn signal, as soon as I turn the key the batt. gage goes crazy and the fuse blows. Any ideas to where I can look to find the problem?

i got it...

I decided to backtrack a little since I had the dash apart a few weeks ago and looked at what I changed since putting it back together. I placed the flasher unit next to the radio rather than up behind the pass. side dash pad like it originally was. So I took the flasher unit and put it back to where it originally was...wallah! No more blown fuses. I figure the flasher unit must have made contact with the radio and somehow created a short. The end...I hope.
