Some of us are here! The Callaway retail displays in the Ballroom look awesome and it appears as though they spent a fair amount of time setting up.

My car is still on the transporter till one of the other owners shows up so we don't have to unload then reload the car that's blocking me in.

The airplane ride was great and then I was picked up and shuttled to St.Charles by Jeff (CAC moderator) in his highly modified Callaway killer ;) mini-rammed, ZZ-9 cammed hot rod '89 Vette. What a ride!
Things are quiet other than that. If anyone needs to reach Surf (Josh) or myself we're at the Hilton Garden Inn in Room 125. The beer is chillin.. you'll never guess what brand :L

Cool!!!!

I need to try one of those.. You are welcome for the ride.. did you find Luigi?

Everyone was found... by 3:30pm things were in full swing with pulling cars into the Special Collection Display. Many Callaway enthusiasts met for the first time in many months to set up one of the most prestigious Corvette shows in the country.

Here are some photos:

Cool, Can't wait to see them in person

Looks very cool Eric,

Those ballroom Callaway's look like they've been polished for days!:cool :_rock
Have a nice weekend over there, maybe a groups photo would be nice.. :beer

There was talk of a group photo happening on Sunday! We'll see!
"Make it so!" ;)

We'll give it our best!

Today, Thursday, was spent putting some more cars in place and tweaking the final show arrangement. We officially open to the public tomorrow morning, Friday at 7am. The official ribbon cutting ceremony has been moved to Saturday morning at 9am.

Today, two Speedsters arrived and another C12. WOW! :eek

Well Im just checking in from my roommmate's(EricVonHa) cpu.

I was right!!! The Callaways are HOT! Even with my hard bias toward the b2k's, on of my favorite cars is Reeves' personal C12 w/ 100% carbon fiber body....that car is stunning.

Anyway have a good one!

Any chance of getting some super high resolution pictures of those speedsters? The Home Office has vacant walls :)

Thanks for posting the photos Chad! We had a looong day today and just got back to the hotel 10:30cst. Grand Opening is tomorrow, however, the ribbon cutting has no been moved to Saturday morning 9am. See you there!

If somebody has a minimum 5 mega pixels. Maybe it's an idea to make some very nice photo's on it's best quality. Like Shopview say's you can print them out on a (din) A0 format (around 70 x 40 inch) and you'll have a good quality color print! (you'll have a 2mb .jpg then).. Just an idea of course. :)
Enjoy everyone!!

Exactly Peter.....We would really like some wall size poster quality shots :)

I'm looking for a good one of a yellow, black, and or green C4 Speedster if they are there!

Thanks again,

Mark

Guys, there are a few of us here taking some super hi-res photos of all of the cars. You gotta get here in person to make sure that we're doing it right ;)

We'd be glad to share these photos after the event! :)

Knew we could count on you ;).....wish we could be there. Also wish I had a few hundred grand to bid on that speedster......still wishing, maybe next year

Here's a couple photos of the ZR1 Twin Turbo Speedster. The reserve price is rumored to be $300k. That's a lot of pesos!

It has a wide body rear end conversion that is 1 of 1. The rear tires have a sectional width of 345mm! Wow! The radiator placement has been completely modified to lay almost completely flat. The intercoolers have taken on the the more traditional position of the radiators.
