Well over the last weeks or so I have been in the process of doing a few suspencion upgrades. New rear spring, shocks and rear body mounts. It started all this partly because the left rear end was about 2 inch lower then the front.

In the process of getting the body mounts on I just noticed the left rear Body mount reinforcment plate was misssing all togher. I asume this could not have fallen out , my guess is it lousen up and some had just removed it in the past. Maybe becuase they could not re attached it. The factory one on the other side looks like it was origonally rivited threw the metal into the fiber glass.

My question is how to reattached it ?? I have a new one on order, but not sure haw to tackle this one. Can I get behind it on the top ? Can I just use small bolts oposed to rivets ?

Has anyone been threw this before ? Any help would be a preachiated.

It was riveted originally, but functionally it doesn't matter; it can be attached with screws and nuts. It just serves to spread the load from the body bolt and prevents the body mount from contacting the fiberglass underbody directly.
