Body Mounts

I recently put the body back on the chasis. Does anyone know how the new body mounts go on. All 8 of them are the same and I am unsure of how to put them on. I looked through the chiltons manuel but I couldn't find it.

Hi, go to DocRebuild catalog and look on page 95. This will show the orientation of the mount assemblies. If you don't have his catalog then he has a web site with the pictures. His catalog is the best one around if you only use it for the assembly pictures. Hope this helps, Fred

Do you have the Assembly Manual? GM Chassis Service Manual? Both of them show the body mounting in detail. Could never figure out why people take Corvettes apart and then try to put them back together with Chilton and Haynes manuals instead of the factory manuals. :eyerole
