The last thing I have left to do to my 74 is some minor body work and new paint. I was told by my brother in law to go to a boat repair shop for the body . He had the same exact car in the late 70s and that is how he had his work done. So my question is boat shop or body shop? Travis

Check with Austin Corvette on N. Lamar. Hear they do good work.

I think taking it to a boat shop is going a little overboard!:L

I would suggest visiting no less than six shops before you make any decision. I would also suggest going to a regular auto body shop. They will be best equiped to deal with the unique facets of the car and the paint booth will be best suited to deal with a car rolling in and out.

There is really no mystery behind making good fiberglass repair. In the end it all boils down to the amount of time and effort spent doing the prep work.

Hey, but whatever floats your boat!!! (I crack myself up)
