There new great Idea is any car that 1969 or Newer needs to pass smog standers of today modern cars.
I asked the older cars did not come with the smog equipment so what’s the deal CA is saying you need to put it on to pass Smog.
This is just a way to get older cars off the road another way to make people that can’t buy afford car go to the poor farm. And get our classic cars off the road.
All I can say about this New So call law they are trying to put in affect is there bunch on Ass Hole in charge making more stupid laws that are not needed for those tree huggers.
It seems like the idiots in charge are the ones that can afford a ¼ million dollar + car and a multimillion dollar + homes not the everyday Joe that trying to get ends to meet feed the family keep a roof over their families heads trying to own a older car that they always wanted when they were younger or having a car just to get them around because that’s all they can afford.
I not going to Lie to have a Brand New Corvette but I can afford a $127000.00 Aluminum framed 650 HP Top on the line Corvette like those Ass hole in charge trying to pass laws that us normal everyday Joes are forced to live by.

I was talking to the local Ownner of NAPA Auto store who In to cars and builds them on the side.

I was saying I wish Ca would be like the other states and have the 25 Year Exempt law for cars this when he told me what Ca trying to pass.

This is totally ridiculous. Anyone who is into cars knows it is almost impossible to make a 1969 or later model vehicle pass "today's emission standards". Does not mean those boneheads in CA would not try, but I find this news very odd.
