Wow, thanks for the how-to. I am just getting ready to upgrade the stereo and speakers in my '88, and was thinking of doing the work myself. Seeing what it takes to do the door speakers, I'm thinking the $500 I was quoted for parts and labor, including a new head unit + 4 speakers, is pretty damn good!
