Bose System Replacement

I have a 1987 coupe that I'm thinking of installing a moder aftemarket stereo system. Nothing wrong with the Bose system accept that it is a Cassette model. Can anyone recommend a good stereo installer with vette experience in the San Diego area?

If you're thinking about components, I recently upgraded my stereo and am really happy with it, it sounds much better than the Bose. I got a new head unit, the Audiovox GC-600 which is 1.5 din and fits perfectly into the stock opening. I also put in Infinity 6X9 speakers in the back and Infinity 6.5" in the doors. The amp is an Alpine MRPF240, which fits perfectly into the passenger side storage bin in the back. It sounds pretty good.

Did you install it yourself? How hard a job?
I have an 87 Vette.
Any help appreciated.

I meant gc600 not 800.....
