Bought a SUN distributor machine

This week, I got a nice deal on an old SUN distributor tester/machine ... an old Sioux valve refacer machine ... & an old Sioux valve seat grinder. Got the stuff from local semi-retired aircraft mechanic/race car builder. The SUN will need a new strobe lamp ... the Sioux stuff needs a few rocks & pilots. I'm told the SUN was in local Chevy dealership many years ago ... it all looks to be about 40-50 years old.

Later this summer and on part-time basis, I may offer distributor rebuilding/blueprinting/curving/recurving service via mailorder ... any interest here for such a thing?

I'd be interested. I've been thinking about this type of service for some time. Next time I pull the distributor I would like to have it rebuilt and recurved.

Seems like nobody can find distributor service anymore. That should be a valuable asset to have.
