Brake fluid flush before winter storage

Yup. That's pretty much the last thing I have to do to my car before storing for winter. Can I upgrade to Dot 4 or can I only flush with Dot 3 as original? Any secrets about vette brake bleeding? I'll just be flushing them the classic way with someone in the car. (don't have an adapter for the pressure bleeder)
 
dot 4 is fine, do not use dot 5 :beer
 
Why not wait til the spring? A lot of moisture in the air over the winter and early spring. I just put all 3 of mine up on stands and pulled the wheels as a reminder to flush all of them before they come back down. And with the C3 brakes, no telling how many calipers will be leaking come April! I have one leak now! Will rebuild it but still wait til spring to pressure bleed.
