Help,

A nice guy followed me to tell me I had no brake lights. I checked the fuse which was blow and changed it. It blew again right away. Any suggestions as to where to look first? i just replaced the Bose amplifiers (all 4) was I near any brake light or hazard light wires? Does anyone have a manual that can tel me what color the brake light wires are?

Where do I start first! I would like to avoid the dealer as I do not trust either of the Chevy dealers nearest to me. One I have had personal bad experiences with, and the other worked on this 1990 for the original owner, and I have already found things they bubba'd and broke.

Thanks for the help.

(I gotta get a picture of both my Vettes for my signature)

My first suggestion would be to verify the amperage rating on the fuse is correct for that circuit.

I've learned that whatever you were working on last is a precursor to the problem you are having now. I don't have the wire color handy for a 90, but I would check for a screw through a wiring harness starting with the front speakers.

Thanks,

The fuse is the corract amperage (20 amps). Today I am going to pull both front speakers to look for any possible problems.

OK, I pulled both front speakers. The wiring runs only on ;the passenger side. I can't find anywhere there could be a problem. Unless one of you has a good idea, I guess its off the the local electrical specialists.
