:) Going to be doing some upgrades to my 81 soon one of which will be new calipers and brake lines. I have seen a few posts where brake lines have been replaced but no mention of useing stainless steel lines. Are they good or should I stick with rubber lines?:confused Thanks:w :pat

phxraptor.... Unless you are doing any serious autocrossing a set of good OEM rubber lines should perform just fine. The SS braided lines are a waste of $$$ IMHO. Spend the savings on top nothc SS sleeved O-Ring calipers and good pads. I know there's a lot of pro's and con's in past posts here regarding DOT-3 vs. DOT-5 (silicone) fluid. Personally I prefer the DOT-5. Good luck in your project and let us know if you have any trouble at all.
