Brake Pad Replacement

I have 36,000 miles on my Vette and just replaced the brake pads and resurfaced the rotors. I am curious to hear from others here what your experience has been. Is this about average life of the brakes or should they have lasted longer?

It does depend on your driving habits but mine lasted about 35,000 miles.
