Pretty soon my Z will be in need of some new pads and was wondewring what everyone is using? Don't want to go with the cheapies but also don't want to break my wallet in half. Anyone have any good experiences with certain brands?

try hawk pads

I put them on recently and then road raced the car. Even
in the rain, one had to slow from 130 to maybe 20mph.

The hawk pads never faded and the dust is lower than stock.
80 bucks from Zip.

Performance Friction Z-Rated brake pads from Autozone.

Cost ~120 for the set and they have lifetime replacement warranty!

I use them on the street and track and they work great...especially for the price. I have gone thru about 5 axle worths so far...how much? $120 initial purchase...awesome.

412Z and 413Z are the part numbers...

I went with a name brand that has been around for a long time. I put Raybestoes Pro pads on mine. They stop on a dime and show little or no dust at all. After 40,000 they show negligible wear on the pads or rotors. They cost a bit more but well worth it.

I have stock pads and they work very well, but I don't autocross or do any racing so I don't need something extreme like Hawk.

I've been thinking about trying out Bosch. Any opinions on them?
