Break-in period

What's the break-in period on a new Vette, and what are the restrictions during that period? I'll be picking up my 03 Z06 from the museum in about a month.

HI there,
Usually, I recommend a 1000 miles before heavy acceleration for the clutch.
Engine, transmission, and differential, about the same.
Just dont run the engine at one specific rpm during the first 1000 miles, and you should be fine.

Umm.... isn't that kinda hard to do on a long highway drive? It's 800+ miles to New Jersey from BG.

Yes, it is, however, I simply shift from 6 to 5th, and back a few times an hour.
It really will NOT affect your fuel mileage considerably.
