Break Squeak

I have a 2003 conv. with 5900 miles. It is 6 mos. old. When I stop with normal pedal pressure, there is a squeal or squeak while stopping. What is the fix? Is it covered by the warranty? Any bulletins on that? Thanks for the help! Tom

Doubt it's covered by warranty, but it's always worth checking (I'm kinda cynical about warranty coverage). I had the same problem with mine after I installed after-market brakes. Use an anti-squeak compound on the back of the brake pads. This keeps the pads from squeaking, vibrating and annoying you to no end. There are spray, and paste forms, with the paste working better for me...
