I just broke the left rear inside bleeder screw off even with the caliper. Also broke easyout off trying to get it out. My question is do I have to use both bleeders to bleed the brakes and if so, any ideas how to get it out? HELP!

Drill and tap it? Make sure you have the correct tap

Thanks, but my easyout is broke off even inside the bleeder, callipers are only about a year old. Do you have to use both bleeders to bleed the brakes?

I broke mine also, but was able to get a firm pedal with just the one. When I called muskegon brake to inquire about them I was told if I screwed up the hole it would void the core credit.
I wonder if the rebuilders put in soft bleeders to keep us coming back :L

You HAVE to bleed both calipers. Theres no way to get all the air out with just one. I work as a mechanic and what worked for me once is to loosen the brake line fitting that goes into the caliper. Have someone help you bleed the brakes. Instead of using the bleeder screw loosen the fitting just a little to get the air out. I've had to do this a few times and the result was pretty good.

GOOD LUCK

Tom

Thanks for everyones help, had to buy new caliper tonight. Will put it on in the morning.
