Broken fuel line bracket

I had a rattle under the hood that I couldn't figure out for the longest time. Finally I spotted the problem: the black plastic bracket that holds the fuel lines in place next to the dipstick was broken. Just curious, has anyone else had that bracket break? That thing looked pretty flimsy.

I thought I could do better than that. I know a guy with an abrasive water-jet cutter that has made me some things in the past, so I designed a new billet aluminum version, and had him cut one out. I think it turned out pretty good. At least this one won't break!

excellent idea, I whish there were more aluminum rather than plastic under the hood and in the steering column.
