Brought my new toy home !

1985 , Hypertec, Vortec cold air, kick azz stereo w/subs.. other than that and the add on plastic and wheels, stock...

It has a few gremilns, been sitting a while. The biggest gremlin to date is the right hood latch is not opening now and I refuse to drive it until I get it open...
I drove it from NC to Illinois 12 hours Tuesday (June 22)

Hood latch may be stuck due to rust/lack of grease. The latches like to collect rain water.

Yep, but I still have to get it open...lol
'I am off to Mid America tomorrow to buy the tool to open the hood when the cable breaks. Then I can see what happened. It opened fine yesterday..

Don't know if that will work on a stuck latch. Paul was saying at CruseFest that you can reach the cable that runs between the left and right latches by removing the battery cover panel. Try giving it a yank.

I love it so far, I fear this is a money pit from ad.....
