Bubble Tail Lamp Lenses

Any C3s out there that have converted to the bubble tail lamp lenses? I like the look and having the dual brake and turn signal lights. Just a thought, I need to see why my backup lights are not working, so depending what I find and where I might be able to reroute those - was thinking about doing the bubble thing. Any thoughts? - Thanks

I've got them and like them, it's like any other mod I guess, all a personal preference. You do lose the backup lights. The kit comes with scotch lock connectors so you don't have to cut up your wiring, you just clip them onto existing wires. Go here and click on Scott's Shark for a picture.

my bubbles are on the way..... also my back-up lights didnt work at first either..... all it was, was a dirty switch on the gear selector(previous owner a smoker )....... the neutral swithch was dirty as well (didnt want to start a everyonce in a while till i found that) you may need a new switch all together.......... easy fix however......

they are a nice touch, it makes it look diffrent than most.....i'm fortunate...they just screw into place on mine.....do lose the back -up lights....no big deal most of the time....the worst thing for mine is that i also have limo black tinted windows.....so backing up with out lights is tough.....but i live with it ....they are worth it.good luck....chas

No backup lights OK as long as you are not in Pennsylvania.
Will not pass state inspection without backup lights. My 77 backup lights were not working and had to install a backup light switch for state inspection. For some reason the previous owner did not even have a switch installed.
