I noticed when I had my top down today that were some "bubbles" in the (leather) rear deck lid. Anyone else ever have this problem?

I have a 96 LT4 convertible that is near perfect. The excecption is, bubbles in the deck lid and dash.

I personally do not have the lifting of the deck lid vinyl (nope, it's not leather), but a friend of mine has a '94 convertible that does have that same problem. The reason, I'm not sure.

If it were my car, I would find a very reputable interior shop and have the deck lid recovered.

hey lucky.... I have a 95 vert..... I drove it to work it sat in the heat all day I dropped the top I noticed the bubbles also...dont worry about it the heat causes this they'll go away.

From my experience, those bubbles do not "go away". My friend with the '94 vert has had his car for several years, and the bubbles remain. The vinyl has lifted, it's not going to remedy itself. Have it resurfaced.
