Hi All, I notice that my 88 has a chuggle or bucking tendancy when slowing to a stop, in first gear , clutch engaged, it seems like you have to disengage the clutch immediatly when slowing . Is this common on these puppies ? I didn't experience that problem on other vettes I owned. THANKS

My boy's Toyota SR5 2dr stick does that & I am suspecting the motor mounts, they LOOK ok but I'm sure there is a tourque setting & also the rubber may be pretty hard after 10 plus years.

Anyone else?

bucking/chuggle

Thanks, makes sense. I'll take better look at them. When I bought the car me and a friend (who is also a Motorhead) went over everything. I'll check the tranny mounts also. Again, Thanks for your input.

Hope that's it, may not be too bad to fix. Good Luck & let us know.
