Where is the best place to get the Porter Cable 7424???
And what pads should I get and which pads should I stay away from??

Do a search online. I bought mine online a few years ago, but I don't remember where from. I only use it for buffing cars when I first buy them now. Zaino is easy to apply and remove by hand.

Go to lowes and get the PC 7336 for 99 bucks. You can then go to www.properautocare.com and get a velcro backing plate and foam pads. I would also order some Menzerna Polishes (Intense Polish and Final Polish II) since they work great with the PC. The is also some great directions on how to use everything on properautocare. Follow up with some Zaino for the best shine.

If your car is dark/black I would stay away from the yellow pads, just get orange, white and black ones.
