Hi guys,

I have just found that the original build sheet is still on my car.
I have wanted a copy of this for some time and have asked the Corvette Museum to try and locate one for me. I do not think they will have much luck, but maybe the have better contacts and sources.

Question is, do I remove the original sheet?
If so, how do I do it in a way that I don't damage the sheet?

It has been sitting up there for over 22 years and looks very brittle. I would hate to break it after all that time. :cry

Thanks

Tony

NO!I wouldnt remove it,you will damage it.My suggestion would be to empty the tank and store it and buy a new tank to install in the car.I seen somewhere on this site where you can get build sheets remade as long as it was built at BG.

Thanks Mark & D

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Problem I have is that the car is from St Louis!
I am pretty sure all the records were purged by GM (smart move guys!)
I would love to find out what the original owner ordered on the car, it would make it easier to restore later.

Cheers

Tony
