I usually swing my legs out when exiting the Corvette but this time I heard a snap. Looking downwards on the drivers seat, I see the left side lower trim panel hanging off. I must have snapped a mount on the panel, anyone else?
Will pull out the Manuals and see how to R&R the piece and try to find a used one.

How else should one exit this vehicle?

That's the way I always got in and out of my 01 that way. I caught my heals on that cover a few times but luckily I never broke it. I get in and out of my 007 the same way.

I have done the same thing and replaced the trim piece. It's usually a sign that your lower seat bolster/foam is worn out.

You know, once I replaced the seat foam, I never caught it again.......I think maybe you're on to something there.:thumb

If you need to replace it try Marc at VetteNuts.com
