To all Corvette Fans
New Years Day was a real beauty in New York a crisp 53degrees. All around the town those who had their toys put away couldn't help but bring them out.
My wife and I took the cover off the Z-06 and proceeded down to the Beach for some fresh air and beautiful scenery. We were joined at the beach by other legendary chevrolet toys Vintage Z-28's and Mid year Corvettes, in fact we passed a 59 convetible with the top down. By about 2:00PM the temperature reached 57 degrees I knew that god was being kind to the Motorhead comunitty. He gave us a welcome to the New Year.

Same thing here in Staten Island, it was warm out and the salt from Mondays snow was washed away.

In Upstate South Carolina on 1-1-05 and 1-2-05 had the top out all day and a beautiful ride through the mountains. Didn't even have to turn on the heat!!!!

Went to the shore myself. Took my 4 Yr. old with me. He wanted to know why we couldn't go surfing. Told him the water was to cold, and there is no place on the Vette to put the boards. Was a nice day though. When we got home, my wife asked him what we did. He said " Me and daddy went to the shore in the Vette to look at Hotties" I couldn't stop laughing. She didn't find it as funny though. What area were you in?

The weather sure was a good teaser. I kept asking myself what it would be like if it stayed this way until spring, and then got nicer. For some reason I think that Jan. Feb, and March will be tuff on us car guys.
