I also hooked up my clutch linkage this weekend. This also went without a hitch. I did wind up removing the cross shaft to press in a new bushing that attaches to the clutch pedal rod but this took only about 15 minutes. So now I have brakes clutch and accelerator. What more could a guy ask for? :)

reading thru your posts tonight, sounds like you had a great weekend making progress on the car.
:beer

are you trying to get her done in time for Carlisle?

Yes it was a good weekend and I'm happy with the progress. If only every weekend could go like this. I am trying to have her done for Carlisle. Hope I make it. :)

I'm sure you will get her completed in time. I can't wait to see her in person
Thanks Barry, I am really looking forward to meeting allot of you guys in person as much as I am looking forward to the Show.

I know what you mean. I loved the show last year (except for the heat!) since it was my first time, but I am going again this year as much to meet a lot of the guys on here as much as going just for the show itself.

If you have the 61 done on time are you planning on driving to Carlisle? I was talking to a gentleman with a 59 fuelie at our clubs show this weekend and we are going to travel together on the way down to Carlisle. It would be nice to see all C-1 in a caravan, besides I traveled with a C-2 (427HP 435 HP) yesterday and couldn't keep up.

Good luck and "getter er done" I am looking forward to the Carlisle show.

Hi Ray, That sounds like a good idea. I hope to bring her to Carlisle if she's done, but I will need to feel confident that she is up to the task. She should be.
