C1 recomendation on where to get fiber glass parts

Tom Thanks for the detailed explanation and photos. I still have some question though on repairing the car.

Right now as you can see my car has no paint on it just bare fiberglass.

At this time I have to set the motor and trans, and the power brake booster and master, set the body on its new rolling frame so I can
1-make a battery tray
2-figure if I can use headers or manifolds,
3-figure out the steering colum
4-modify the rear trunk area fot the tube frame clearences
5-attach all bumpers to the body so I can exstend them to the frame for saftey
6-check all clearances

To make a long story short I will be all over the body while its on the new frame prior to any body work being done.

The body has tons of inperfections in it so for sure it will have to be sealed or jel coated. So at this point what am I supposed to do.is the gel coat supposed to go on to the bare fiberglass? Or is it suposed to be primed first should the car be primmed now so I dont get any oiley hand prints on it? Should I be wiping the car down with laquer thinners incase it does have oils in it.I plan on pushing it out in the sun when ever I get a chance but for now what comes first primmer to protect the fiber glass ?

Thanks Again

This project is on the fast pace.As crazy as it seems I plan on driving this to Corvettes of carlilse next year.So that means it will be done a while prior so I can shake out the bugs. You have to remember I have been planning this for a couple of years.Allthough following John Magraws project has caused me to make several changes (all adding time and money I should also add quaility ) And I have had several stumbling blocks (like the media blaster the car was going to is no longer there.all the cars still in his yard but the place is closed up) I can go on but I wont I just have to stay the course. You know I have a lot of freinds and neighbors look at the car and think I am crazy But It will really go fast as long as I am working on it

Thanks again
Lary

Hi Larry

sorry, I didn't notice your reply until just now.
I can't wait to keep hearing and seeing pics of your progress on this as these "hybrid" cars are pretty interesting.
I REALLY can't wait to see the car in person at Carlise next year!
It would be great to get to see yours, John's, and Bob's besides getting to meet all you guys.
Since I could only make it to Carlisle on Sat of this year I was so busy walking around (my first time there0 I didn't get a chance to meet anyone at all with the exception of Rich L. and seeing his SWEET '67.

I just discovered I had the pictures in the wrong order. Sorry.
