c2 air coupe battery door

I'm putting the t nuts on the battery door; can anyone tell me how to install the rivets that hold the nuts in place?

I gave up trying to find the proper rivits and used #4-40 (I think) flat head screws. Tapped the holes in the flange of the 'T' nuts.
