Question for all the C1 and early (63-64) C2 owners. Where did you get your Brake Shoes? And are some better than others? Thanks.
 
Any auto parts store should have them - I'd look for a brand name like Raybestos, Borg-Warner, Wagner, etc. for standard OEM-type organic linings, which will work just fine for normal driving. Carbotech (www.carbotech.com) has semi-metallic performance shoes, but they require higher pedal pressure and are probably more than you need.
