The C2 heater box seal kit (from Zip) included these three seals that I cannot identify or place. I do not remember removing anything like them. :confused

The two larger ones are quite thin (about 1/8") and have peelable paper on a sticky background. The small one is much thicker (about 3/4") and the two ends of the long side are somewhat cupped as if to squeeze into an opening?????

Can you identify these items please?

The one on the far right goes on the end of the air door diverter/shut off. It slips over the end and is stapled in place. It's been awhile since I replaced mine but I believe you stick the others to the inside of the heater box fiberglass in the same area so the diverter/shutoff has something to seal on. It may also be used as insulation to keep this area of the heater box from transfering heat to the inside of the car. If I am incorrect someone will speak up. Good luck. The car is looking great.

67Don,
Thanks for the insight. I noticed the piece stapled on the door inside, but didn't think seriously of trying to staple anything in there. :crazy

I guess I should have figured that the small (but thick) piece was for the Heater/Defroster door.

Anyone know for sure where the larger two (with sticky backs) go?

They go on the forward and rearward vertical inner walls of the case to seal the moving end of the temperature door in the full hot and full cold positions.
