C2 Horns

I am wanting to rebuild the original horns on my '65. Has anyone out there tackled this? Are there any good instructions that anyone knows of? How about the horn rebuild kits from the suppliers, are they worth it? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

I've never heard anything good about the horn rebuild kits, and rebuilding them to original appearance is immensely tedious ("textured" rivets, etc.). I can recommend Ron Goralski as an excellent horn rebuilder, (410) 987-1948.

Last year I bought two correctly dated Corvette horns from the The Horn Works for a very reasonable price with great service. He also overhauls your cores for a fair price.
