c2 power brakes/

Welcome to the CAC

I'm surprised that some of our C2 owners haven't replied. Usually a power brake equipped car will have a different master cylinder and push rod. You would also have to add the correct vacuum fitting to the intake manifold and hose to the booster with check valve. The brake lines would also be different up by the master cylinder. This is all available from the Corvette parts vendors. You may even be able to get a complete power brake conversion kit from someone like Stainless Steel Brakes or Vette Brakes. If someone else doesn't chime in with exact details I'll research this further for you.

Thanx a bunch - what i needed.

Fortunately, 1967 was the ONLY year where the manual and power brake systems both used the SAME master cylinder (casting #5455509, stamped "DC" on the machined pad at the front), so you can use the one you have. The rest is all stock parts, assembled as shown in section J50 in the Assembly Manual.

Knock out the two bottom studs where the pedal support attaches through the firewall (so the lower studs on the booster bracket have holes to go through) and drill two holes in the firewall for the nut plate for the upper booster bolts, and the rest is small parts that come in most vendor's conversion kits. :thumb
