Here is a picture of my 65 frame. The white cards represents the two locations of the VIN number stamp locations.

Both are on the top horizontal surface of the frame rail, about 1/2" in from the outer edge; the one forward of the kickup can't be seen with the body on, but the rear one, directly above the shock upper attaching bracket, is visible with the body on with some cleaning and a small mirror.
