C3 lube fitting question

Hello all,

We are trying to lube the U-Joints on my father's '76, and the grease gun end won't fit onto the fitting on the independent shaft U-joints. Is there a special size or type that we need so that we can lube the U-joints?

I am not sure about yours...but my replacement u joints needs a tip like the one below...it looks like a hypodermic needle that fits on the end of the grease gun.
