Hello All, new to the team and new to the vette family...I have a 78' silver anniversary ed. I replaced the temp sending unit and the temp gauge...when running the gauge is spot on 200 degrees, but when cold, it shows 100 degrees, isn't this high for a cold temp? I am in Florida and I was expecting the gauge to go below 100, a side note: the minimum in the gauge is 100. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to CAC!!!
enjoy!!!!
If that's the Lowest number on the gauge,it will be as low as it can go.
I would be more worried if it was going over 200...

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center. I'm going to move your thread into the C3 Tech forum for greater exposure.

My 78 runs 195 to about 210 depending the
ambient temperature and if I have the air on or not. As far as cold,100* is about as low as it gets.:thumb
