Has anyone successfully adapted power door locks to work on an early C3 (68-76)?

I've put them in and have been less than impressed. My driver's door works most of the time. The passenger door only wants to unlock. There is a lot of drag introduced into the components due to adjustments, dirt, length of run, etc., that makes them less than perfect.

If you elect to do it, make sure to go with high quality actuators. They are not all the same. By the time I had figured this out I had the wiring run across the car and of course they the better actuators took a different type if wiring setup and it just wasn't worth it to do it over.

Check it out.

What actuators did you finally use and how did you install them in the doors?

I found one on the internet that looks promising. They are sending me details, but from what they have told me so far, they provide 2 high torque actuators and all the connecting rods to attach to the corvette link arms. How they describe the system operation, if you lock the drivers door with the key, both doors lock. If you unlock the drivers door, both doors unlock. There is no electrical switches inside the car, but if you lock the drivers door with the inside knob, both doors lock. There is also a keyless remote module which will operate the system the same way. I'll post more when I find it out.
