I'm about to drop the rear end this winter to do trailing arms, stub axles etc. Thought it might be a good time to look at changing the gear ratio to get a little more snap out of the car. I asked my local Vette shop who was the best around here and he said "Nobody, I send everything to a shop in Illinois". Pretty hard to believe nobody around here can change a Corvette ring and pinion correctly without having them whine! Would anyone in New England care to offer a reputable name?

Also would I be better to buy a rebuilt differential or have the one I have redone? Car has 56K miles.

Thanks

Well since there are only about 3 vette shops in CT the choice is limited. I'll PM some info
