Hey guys, I just found these photos while cleaning up around my desk at home. (taking the day off to get caught up after Sharkfest).

Here you can see the mods to the stock C3 tracks to mate up to the C4 bottoms.

Don't let that silver plate throw you off under each track. That is just part of my roll bars. The actual mounting holes through the floor are in the stock C3 location. Basically you can zoom in on the plates I have on top of the tracks. These 3/8" or so thick steel plates let me relocate the mounting point as well as raise the seat just enough to set perfect in the hole.

Very useable info once again Chris! I was planning to put C4 seats in my 1979 too, but then I found about the Sparco Milano's and it was LUV at first sight!:beer

I dunno...I'm pretty partial to the Pace Car-style seats in my '79. Great lumbar support!

I used to have C4 seats in my C3. I didn't like them so I put Pace Car-style seats in it. I really like the 3/4 break in the seat back so much better. It really makes better usage of space in terms of being able to access the stowage area.

If I find an old pic I'll attach it.

Are any mods required to get the Pace Car seats in my 73?

I like the way they look also.

TIA

groovyjay do you have any pics of those sparco milano seats in your car?
