Mounted right above my cruise control transducer on a separate bracket, I have a vacuum relay that has a 2 wire connector on it. The unit is hooked up to the intake manifold via vacuum hose. It looks like it should have a vacuum hose on the wire side also.
Any clues please.
Thanks

Here is a pic.
Located on the drivers side. I didn't have time to take the connector off, but there seems to be a vacuum port under the connector

That's the resume solenoid. You should have two vacumm lines on the back, (looks a little like a tee connection) one goes to the intake manifold as you have said. The other should go to the transducer.
The 'port' on the front shouldn't have anything on it.

The port seems to be allowing air in it.
Should this have a filter?

Front port that is

No filter. But not sure it should be allowing air into it all the time. (I'm not totally familiar with the operation of the solenoid) I believe the vent on the front is only for venting vacuum out of the line to the transducer when the solenoid is not engaged.
