Does anybody know the correct way to remove/replace the turn signal lever on a 79? I am replacing the original turn signal /cruise control lever with a regular, no cruise replacement (can't afford the cruise control lever at the moment). The replacement is straight and the original w/ cruise is angled - is this the correct replacement for a 79? Does the lever pull straight out or do you rotate it first?

I believe it just unscrews. There might be a flat area for a wrench.

It pulls straight out. If you have cruise there will be a wire connected to the stalk. Chuck
